Co-locate both Children's and Adult's Accident and Emergency to Ormskirk

Make Your Voice Heard: A&E Services Consultation

The Shaping Care Together Joint Committee is considering future urgent and emergency care provision across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. The Committee’s preferred option would see services moved to Southport Hospital - leaving many in West Lancashire with a 20 kilometre journey to access emergency care.

That’s just one reason why West Lancashire Borough Council is calling for the co-location of both adult and children’s 24-hour A&E services at Ormskirk Hospital.
